Boards can have an approved strategic plan and regular CEO reporting, yet directors may still describe the priorities differently or be unable to point to where a change in direction was agreed.

This assessment examines whether the board has clear strategic focus, whether CEO reporting remains anchored to that direction, and whether changes in strategy can be traced through the board record.

This assessment gives Chairs, CEOs, Directors, and Company Secretaries a structured, board-level read on whether strategy is being governed clearly - and a reasoned conclusion on what, if anything, to do next.
